Mirror logs to removable disk when it becomes available
In an offline system, I would like to automatically mirror logs to a
removable disk (USB flash drive) when it becomes available. What tools or
plugins or configurations could you recommend to (a) copy/sync older
rotated files to the USB disk, and (b) mirror the current in-progress log
files, both catching up and keeping up with new log entries.

Maybe this isn't an appropriate task for rsyslog at all and would be better
solved with scripting other tools like rsync and tail?

Thanks for your advice,

I would roll my logs every min and then use rsync to copy the files to the
removable disk.

not really a job for rsyslog
