It looks like the remailer at nicoh.com tries to convert from 8bit encoding to quoted-printable encoding, and fails ...
I'll re-send the post without 8 bit chars... (I hope this one goes through intact, it's 7-bits clean :)

Frederic, is this the message you re-sent "without 8-bit chars" ? I think you should try to re-send that message to yourself and then check it out in the mail spool (and not via a clever mail reader), so you can see what it looks like before nicoh.com gets its hands on it. Then we'll at least know what kind of messages are being munged. For example, are you sure it isn't SxMail which inserts `quoted-printable'?

I think that was me, actually. I think that's the first piece of mail I've sent that included 8-bit characters, and PINE decided to slip in quoted-printable. I think. Some of the vagaries of PINE are beyond me, to be honest.
