Query related to disk2n + ZC license

Hi Alfredo &Team,

We have disk2n (v.2.7.160920) license and Pfring_ZC license installed on
same server. We have installed one more new NIC of 10G on the same server
and we have one spare pfring_zc license and want to generate and install
license on same server for already installed disk2n version (v.2.7.160920).

*We receive below error when we run disk2n on new NIC interface - *

#########################################################################
# ERROR: You do not seem to have a valid *PF_RING ZC license 6.5.0.160912*
for ens3f0 [Intel 10 Gbit ixgbe 82599-based]
# ERROR: Please get one at http://shop.ntop.org/.
#########################################################################
# We're now working in demo mode with packet capture and
# transmission limited to 5 minutes
#########################################################################

We feel that we should be generating license for this (6.5.0.160912)
version of pfring_zc. Please confirm so that we can go ahead with license
generation.

*Below are the details of rpm installed of pfring_zc and disk2n:*

# rpm -qa | grep -i pf
pfring-dkms-6.5.0-832.noarch
pfring-6.5.0-832.x86_64

# rpm -qa | grep -i disk
n2disk-2.7.160920-4695.x86_64

# disk2n -v
08/Jan/2020 13:42:07 [disk2n.c:2319] WARNING: Some mandatory parameters are
missing

Hi Chandrika
your application is too old to support latest licenses, a software update is required..

HI Alfredo,

Are you saying that we will need to upgrade disk2n to latest version? But
that will require renewal of disk2n license also right ?
Cant we generate license for old version of pf_ring zc so that we can use
the existing disk2n application?

unfortunately it is not possible to generate a license for an old pf_ring version,
you need to renew the disk2n maintenance..
