Akamai DNS outage? [ In reply to ]
https://edgedns.status.akamai.com/

Anyone have additional info on this Akamai DNS issue? Certain hosts do not resolve (while others still do). For example:

$ host e35278.a.akamaiedge.net
Host e35278.a.akamaiedge.net not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

$ host e11475.a.akamaiedge.net
e11475.a.akamaiedge.net has address 173.222.103.149

I gather there were, but my 2 p.m. notification was delayed because it got stuck in the craw of my cell phone.

Yes, but the outages.org DNS and infrastructure is not hosted
via Akamai resources. Machine is still colocated with my old employer
(thank you!).

Apparently I need to tweak the behavior of some of the anti-spam
stuff to ensure messages flow faster.
