SRX300 stuck in loader
Greetings
My firewall SRX300 stuck in loader , I brought a large USB , formatted it
and downloaded the image.
https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos12.1x44/topics/task/installation/security-junos-os-boot-loader-usb-storage-device-srx-series-device-installing.html
The issue is that it does not work and mention target media is to small.
What should I do ?

Download the *.img file. Use rufus/win32diskimager to image the usb. Insert usb into the chassis. >request system halt at now. unplug/reinsert power. Upon boot process select "install junos" via console menu.

Re: SRX300 stuck in loader [ In reply to ]
Right, there are no USB images for SXR300.
What is proabably needed is another SRX300 for creating an USB bootable snapshot (to boot the unbootable SRX300), then a snapshot from the USB to the flash (on the unbootable SRX300, once booted).
Or someone with an SRX300 might create and make available an image of such snapshot (in order to dd it to another USB key).
