SRX300 Sudden Reboot
Greetings
I have SRX300 which is running normally for long time except for the last
two weeks where I have suffered from sudden reboot.
Model: srx300
Junos: 15.1X49-D70.3
JUNOS Software Release [15.1X49-D70.3]

Nothing has been changed or added and nothing in the log messages is
related to this.
As well , no active alrams and temperature levels are fine:
tbzadmin@FW-PB-NEW# run show chassis environment
Class Item Status Measurement
Temp Routing Engine OK 45 degrees C / 113 degrees F
Routing Engine CPU OK 58 degrees C / 136 degrees F
Power Power Supply 0 OK

What could be the issue?

Much appreciated.

What was the reported reboot reason?
You will find that in 'show chassis routing-engine'

Re: SRX300 Sudden Reboot [ In reply to ]
Thanks all for the kind replies.
Adding to that , the FW got hanged and I cannot access it remotely unless
it is rebooted manually.
It keeps working for couple of days and then it is back again to hang
status.
Current SW version is 15.1X49

Any recommendations ? Should I do an upgrade?

BR,
Mohammad

Re: SRX300 Sudden Reboot [ In reply to ]
If it's a model with an external power brick, replace the power supply. For
random reboots, one of the first things I check is the power supply.

Can I use the web generated link to send the file to the SRX box?

Re: SRX300 Sudden Reboot [ In reply to ]
You should be able to use "file copy <URL> <destination>" if the device has
internet access.

You can also scp the file directly to the device or use file copy to pull
it from a management device.

The customary place to put firmware files is /var/tmp/ before installing.
