vrrp
Hi
i have two routers running vrrp for one subnet. Each box has multiple g.703
e1's connecting to a common remote network .
My question :
When a router is in vrrp stand-by mode, can it still forward packets from
it's wan interface to it's ethernet interface in the same group as the vrrp
master ?
Will it still give connectivity to the lan segment via it's vrrp interface ?
hope this is clear !
Thanks

Hello Aman,

The answer should be yes, it will still forward from
the E1 onto the Ethernet.

VRRP will only affect traffic in the other direction,
and you'll end up with asymmetric routing.
