Hi guys,

I have found some errors in the Juniper r5.5 documentation on-line, and was
wondering if anyone else has seen this ?

The errors relate to L2 VPN's, and are;

- iBGP local address is described as remote PE address rather than the local
lo0 interface (this seems to appear quite often throughout).
[vpnl2-examples5.htm]

- VRF/protocols/l2vpn/site Sunnyville/interface includes remote-site-id in
one config example, and not in the summary page config....I think that
including the remote-side-it is wrong.....cannot be remote as it is locally
connected.
[vpnl2-examples6.htm compared against vpnl2-examples10.htm]

This dates back to r5.1, and I haven't checked L3 yet.

Neil.

I will pass this onto our documentation people

Remote-id is the id of the remote site that this local interface is
logically conected to over the provider network. It is used when
you want to specify non contiguous connections or you just want the
configuration to be clear.

I you send the correct link I will make sure it is correct
