Looking at release notes is 5.6h the last firmware supported on the NI-XMR-MR Management Modules ?
I have some MLXe devices (1st gen) which were from what I can tell just a XMR with a new label from brocade called a MLXe

Slot Power-On Priority and Power Usage:
Slot1 pri=1 module type=NI-XMR-1Gx20-GC 20-port 10/100/1000 Copper Module power usage=156W
Slot2 pri=1 module type=NI-XMR-1Gx20-SFP 20-port 1GbE/100FX Module power usage=185W
I was able to boot up 6.3c firmware but it didn't let me configure anything saying firmware needs to be downgraded to below 5.8 ie 5.6
