6910 Firmware
Hey guys,

I hate to be _that guy_ but can anyone help me out with the 2.4.0.0 (or latest) release of the 6910 firmware?

I believe the box has been EOL/abandoned.

Just trying to rescue one for personal use.

Thanks
Tim

I had never even heard of those, and apparently nobody is claiming them.

When Brocade was scattered to the four winds, Broadcom says that
device went to Extreme:
https://www.broadcom.com/brocade-customers-partners

Extreme says it went to Ruckus:
https://community.extremenetworks.com/data-center-slx-vdx-mlx-ces-232983/download-firmeware-brocade-br6910-pt-br-7749451

And Ruckus has never mentioned it.

Tim,

We actually still have a few installed for a customer that required an ieee 1588 compliant switch.
But the newest firmware we have is 2.3.0.08.

Would that be of any interest to you?

Best regards

Jan Pedersen

Hi Jan,

I have been sorted - thanks but.

Thanks to those who helped out.

It is good to get 100+MB/sec out of my media server at last :)

Thanks
Tim.
