bpdu pass-through
Hi,

When STP is disabled on E-Series, the box seems to discard the BPDUs
received on it's interfaces(layer 2 switch port mode).
Can I configure the box to pass through (flood) the multicast destined for
mac address "01:80:c2:00:00:00"?

[bridge]---BPDU(A)--> gi1/0 [E-series(STP disabled)] gi1/1 ---BPDU(A)--->

#show cam mac linecard 0 port-set 0
:
Index Table ID VlanId Mac Address Region Interface
:
28668 0 0 01:80:c2:00:00:00 BLACKHOLE 01c05
:

TIA

Your observation is correct. Current behavior is to consume the BPDUs in
the situation you describe.

There currently is no option to change this behavior.

Hope this helps.

So, I will enable STP on the E-box.

Thanks!
