Regarding Rsync data transfer
Hi all,

Any one knows how to throttle the speed in Rsync, i am setting some value
say 7mb, but it is crossing the value during transmission, so any one knows
about it,

please let me know on the same..

source different storage and destination cmode 9.4p2 version(netapp)

You can use -throttle on creation or modification, think the number defaults to kb.

So snapmirror create -source-path xxxxxx -destination-path xxxxxx -throttle 100
Would give you a snapmirror with a 100k max throughput.
You’ll probably need a few more modifiers, depending on your requirements.

As long as the destination is Netapp, download and use NetApp XCP located at XCP.NetApp.Com
