preferred development platform?

Hi all,

Quick question:
I see that Nessus runs on most POSIX platforms, but I was wondering
what the "preferred" platform was (e.g. the one the core developers
use, for example). Mainly curious.

Thanks,
Jon Moore

Our preferred platforms are (in that order) :

- FreeBSD 4.x
- RedHat Linux (either ES/AS or Fedora Core 1)
- MacOS X 10.3

Most of the coding is done under MacOS X, and most of the stress-testing
is done under FreeBSD and Linux.
