SchedulesDirect back online?
Following the upgrade issues on the SD forms, the last post seems to be
circa 4/19[1] but as of today (4/28) I still have not successfully
downloaded schedule data.

Am I the only one experiencing this tissue?

Thanks,
Richard

My production system successfully updated this afternoon and has 17
days of data. The system has been up for 40 days, which sound like
about the right amount of time for when I last updated MythTV.

It's been working for me.

Just did 4 runs. All worked. Suggest running mythfilldatabase -v system.

That will show you the grabber command and switched used. Then run that
from the command line. In my case, I remove the --quiet switch (which
will cause VERY noisy output if things are working).

E.g.: tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --config-file '/home/bill/.mythtv/OTA.xmltv' --output /tmp/mytest.out

It works for me with my grabber of choice.

Presuming that your mythfilldatabase
log is not showing anything of interest,
as others have suggested, run your
grabber manually using the userid that
normally runs mythfilldatabase (likely
the mythtv user), to see if it reports any
useful information (it is possible something
like your account expired at just about the
same time, or some filesystem has filled
up, or ????).

If nothing jumps out, Schedules Direct
has requested that you open a ticket
on their website. I happen to know
(because I was impacted) there was at
least a single issue which was stated to
impact a very very targeted (reported to
only impact a very small unity of people)
issue that remained after the (extended)
weekend outage(*) because it had not
been reported via a ticket. It is conceivable
you are in another very very targeted
case, but first run the grabber manually,
and open a ticket as appropriate.

(*) Which took beyond that extended
weekend to resolve because the people
impacted (and when I say people, I
mean me) did not open a ticket (which
is bad on me, not on Schedules Direct
staff, who resolved the issue the same
day it was finally reported, even working
late into the evening to address the
problem).

Thanks all, the "-v system" output was interesting but as of this morning
it just "worked" I'm not sure what changed.

Since I remote into the system as root I just run

MYTHCONFDIR=/etc/mythtv mythfilldatabase

Easier than logging in as the mythtv system user since it doesn't have a
shell assigned.

Thanks,
Richard
