I'm an idiot.

That cable DOES fit.

I'm going to probably cut up an DB9 cable and an RJ-11 cable and splice them
together myself.

My local radio shack didn't seem to have that DE9-to-RJ-11 connector.
Although the guy that works there was on the phone the entire time and
wasn't much help.
