Segmentation Fault in Setup
When attempting to configure the backend system, a Segmentation fault
occurs as soon as I enter the "Input Connections" menu.

The card (WinTV-250) is install, and I can capture TV video from /dev/video0.

The shell shows...

Would you like to clear all program/channel
settings before starting configuration? [no]
ioctl: Invalid argument
Segmentation fault

The Messages log shows...

Jun 2 13:34:16 medusa kernel: ivtv: ivtv-api.c: unknown ioctl 0x803c7601

I am using RH 9.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,
sjf

To follow up -- When I enter the "Input Connections" screen, it contains
only the line "Input Connections", the rest of the screen is blank.
According to the instructions, I "should see a listing of the various input
connections available on each of the Capture cards you defined". This is
not happening.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks,
sjf

I got this when I tried the download version from the website. The CVS
version worked fine though.

Well, I hate to sound stupid (I mean I really, REALLY hate it), but could
you give me the 30-second description as to how to download it from CVS?
The page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/mythtv/ doesn't show any files,
and I don't see any references to getting it from CVS on the mythtv website.

Thanks,
sjf
