Greetings,
I'm new to the project and have been reading the list extensively and done a
bunch of searches, but I can't find a clear answer to my question..
Let's say that I have 2 backends setup each with a frontend on it, each with one
capture card each. The master has cable plugged into it, the other has
satellite plugged into it. If I start up a frontend on either of the backends,
I've read that it will check for local tuner availability before using the
other. What if I want to switch to the other? Say I'm watching a PPV and want
to check a local cable channel for news updates or something? From my reading,
the 'c' button changes inputs on the card, but not the actual card.
Also, with a setup like that, what would the EPG show?.. would it only show data
for the active tuner, or would it show all data and switch to the tuner [if
available] as appropriate? [.Forgive me, I've not yet procured the hardware to
set this package up yet, so this may be self-explanatory once I do.]
