WinTV 401 dbx Should I use the 401's line in or my sound cards?
I'm setting up a WinTV 401 dbx card with the line in and out at the back of
it. Should I use that line in, or my sound cards? If I do use the line in
from the card, do I have to patch the line out to my soundcards line in
then?

The line-out from your tuner card goes to the line-in of your sound card
(unless you're using btaudio, then you don't need a patch cable at all). If
your tuning off of analog cable or antenna, that's all you need. If you're
using S-Video from an external cable box, you also need the line-out of the
cable box plugged into the line-in of the tuner card.
