As usual, as soon as I decide to post to the mailing list, I solved my
problem =P. I had to create a symbolic link named /tmp/mysql.sock that
points to /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock. Hope this helps somebody.
Still got a segfault at the end of myfilldatabase though....
