Lost MaoriTV (Wharite)
Related to the recent email thread on the loss of EIT data for Maori TV, I
have just tried a rescan and am now "Failing to find new channels", despite
manualy deleting Maori TV using the channel editor.

As far as I can work out, the signal and my reception from Wharite
(Manawatu) is otherwise fine - and I'm watching TV One under mythtv as I
type this. TV3 and Prime are fine too. However, a full rescan does not find
any new channels, including Maori TV. Never had this happen before.

Something to do with myth v.29 perhaps?

I am on Wharite. Maori Television and Te Reo have moved to a new mux
on 610000 Hz. It may not be in the list of frequencies to be scanned
unless you scan all frequencies, rather than one of the other options.
I just did a "Full Scan" from my test v29 box and it found both
channels.

Ok - the problem was that my myth v29 was defaulting to Australia for a
full channel scan.

Sorted now, with Maori TV listings back :)
