On my test system, I use the ion window manager, which places a small
title/navigation bar at the top of the screen. When mythtv runs in this
environment, the video image seems to be scaled up to the size of the
screen, and not the size of the window, such that the bottom of the screen
(including part chunk of the OSD) is truncated. Other Xv programs seem to
fit the window correctly.
