iostat curiosity
So here's an odd one. In steady-state, when using the mpeg4 codec at
480x480/44100, I ran iostat -d 2. It consistently shows that right
around four times as many writes are happening as reads.

I'm just watching "live" tv. Seems to me that reads and writes should
be mostly even, or most offset by a second or so?

Yeah, weird. It shows up about double on my machine.. Definately would think
it'd be about the same.
