my bad...the audio behind error was PEPCAC

I figured out what the problem was yesterday...I just ran out of room on the partition that held the ringbuffer...whoops, I feel dumb. I have been running mythtv all day without incident. I guess there's a problem when you do a $ df and it says '/dev/hda2 100%'!




Isaac: I would be interested in going through our mailing list here and updating your FAQ, if this is OK with you.
