The Lucene PMC is pleased to announce the release of Apache Lucene 5.2.1
Apache Lucene is a high-performance, full-featured text search engine
library written entirely in Java. It is a technology suitable for
nearly any application that requires full-text search, especially
cross-platform.
This release contains various bug fixes and optimizations since the
5.2.0 release. The release is available for immediate download at:

Lucene 5.2.1 includes 3 bug fixes:
* Fix class loading deadlock relating to Codec initialization, default
codec and SPI discovery.
* NRT readers now reflect a new commit even if there is no change to
the commit user data
* Queries now get a dummy Similarity when scores are not needed in
order to not load unnecessary information like norms
