kswapd priority
In 2.0.x the kswapd priority was -12 but in 2.2.x now is 0, why?
BTW, what are advantages (disadvantages?) on making kswapd, kmod, etc
as a kernel thread rather than a trivial kernel procedure/function?

kswapd in 2.2.x is necessary only for atomic allocations. For normal stuff
it's the process which blocks and frees the memory for itself. This mean
the hog will block and the other apps will have more chance to run smootly
even under swap.
