2 cards, one problem
I've been using a PVR-250 on an intel DP45SG motherboard with no problems for
quite some time now. Maybe not the latest driver/kernel (CentOS 5.4), but
it's been trouble free and working flawlessly with myth.

Now I've finally gotten around to adding a second PVR-250 that I've been
meaning to get to. The second card is identical to the first card, and it too
has been working just fine in a previous machine.

But I just can't get the two cards to co-exist in the same machine. I can
install each card individually and each works perfectly, but I can't install
them both at the same time.

The machine appeared to be hanging on udev. I thought it might be a udev
thing, so I blacklisted ivtv and the machine completes boot up. But when I
modprobe ivtv, it just locks up solid again. After reviewing the logs it
'looks' like both cards initialize just fine, but after initialization is
complete, the log just ends (which is the point were I power cycle the machine
again).

I should probably start with an updated kernel and driver, but I'm hesitant to
stray outside the CentOS repos. If this is a known problem that can only be
fixed with a version update I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions.
