When you receive your gmail invitation, try to sign up with a new address like
patekphilipp@gmail.com, diamonds@gmail.com , jewellers@gmail.com anything
related to $$$$ and very easy to find at google.com (top 10) but not a
regular name like david0@gmail.com, nancy1@gmail.com, etc ...
If you do so you will receive 6 invitations QUICKLY. Invite then yourself and
create a new gmail account that you really want to have and give away the 5
other invitations.
Worked for me :-) but don't try to sell them at eBay ;-))
