Hi all

I would like to have the same background image for grub, bootsplash
(verbose and silent) and for my desktop, including kdm.

That would be a good idea for a fresh install gentoo system first boot,
don't you think?

I know they're not the same, they have different resolution and color
depth, but that's not a problem (thanks to gimp ;-) ).

For kdm, gdm and the kde and gnome desktop, it's ok, I know what to do :-D

I wanted to know: the resolution and color depth of the grub background
(I know its place), the resolution, color depth and location of the
bootsplash images (both verbose and silent) and how to configure it.

I've read some man pages, but I've got confused about the bootsplash and
the console background configuration. And also I have tried to change
the grub background with no success.

Any hints or links?
