Hi guys,
I had installed gentoo at a virtual machine for study purposes and
everything was fine until I start to try boot this install.
Well, I've configured grub like in my real machine instead of I'm now
using (at virtual machine) genkernel to make a compatible livecd kernel.
I've setup at grub.conf the follow line:
kernel /kernel-2.6.7-gentoo-r9 root=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc ramdisk=8192
real_root=/dev/hda3 vga=791 splash=silent
but when I try to boot, grub doesn't what from "real_root" parameter to
the end of the line.
What may happing? 'cause of this I have to specify manually root
partition every time I boot this machine.
Tks in advice,
