I have an enormous regular expression to match RBQ messages, if you'd like to
use it to filter your mail :) On average, I remove three dozen messages a day
just based upon that one filter.

I doubt it, I get blank emails like this all the time and it's supposed to
be related somehow to spam.

In any event, you can't stop it so you might as well ignore it.

Most people who sign up for any of the Gentoo mailing lists enjoy reading
about gentoo related topics, such as gentoo weekly news letter or
gentoo-security. I personally don't see the reason to progress on this
subject after a blank email....10+ replays is just crazy. It is really time
that these replays stop...but as I think about it, even this email is
supporting it. Just dont respond :)

Ohhh the urge....I must replay :) have a good one.

Be aware that some earlier versions of evolution (last I remember was
approx ~12 mths ago from memory) had a bug that displayed emails as
blank when they weren't. It was only certain types of content that
triggered the bug. Never saw a reason given, but it was certainly
frustrating ...

My philosophy is that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

In that spirit, I've written a small script to send blank e-mails
randomly to your address book a few times a day. It's a quick job, but
it should work with most address book formats. Let me know what you
think. You can find it at http://www.af0.net/~dan/?autosend
