Sorry, I know I probably should send the mail here, but I have to run to
work now and belive this could be a very anoing problem:

I dont know if /etc/skel/.bashrc belong to bash-2.05b-r9 but it is an
endless loop, somebody should change that.

I found out by installing the latest portage yesterday. If it is alrady
fixed then I'm sorry.

BTW. Thanks for a good job with Gentoo. Have been using it seens 1.0. =o)

according to "qpkg -f /etc/skel/.bashrc" it belongs to sys-apps/baselayout but I don't see a loop there (I have also 2.05b-r9 installed)
