3ware 8506 kernel panic
I've been attempting to get a 3ware 8506 64bit PCI card to work in a B2000,
running Gentoo 2006.something, under kernel 2.6.19.1-pa0. I've been unable to
do so to date. The machine kernel panics when the 3ware 8000/9000 series
driver is compiled in to the kernel, or loaded as a module. Below is a crash
dump from the machines latest boot attempt. The backtrace is the same in both
a 64bit slot and a 32bit slot. The backtrace is also the same when the driver
is compiled directly into the kernel.

Kernel panic - not syncing: High Priority Machine Check (HPMC)

----------------

I realize that this information might not be of much use, so please let me
know what I need to provide to help with this. If needed, I can provide
access to the machine so developers can poke around with things.

 Thank you for your time,
 Zach
