Linstor HA Controller with Proxmox
Hello, I am interested in the high availability of the Linstor controller in a Proxmox environment with the new method that you recommend :
https://www.linbit.com/drbd-user-guide/linstor-guide-1_0-en/#s -proxmox-ls-HA
It seems that the prerequisite is 3 nodes.
Is it possible to simply adapt this operation for only 2 nodes?

Thanks,

Greb

No. I think the documentation is pretty clear about it. Note that this
node can be some dummy node that does not need to consume any storage. A
VM somewhere else, an old raspberry pi,...

What I want to add for users finding this thread in some archive:

The third dummy node can be used just as quorum tiebreaker. It is just a
diskless client for the DRBD resource hosting the LINSTOR controller DB.
For that you need the third node.

But you can configure drbdd::promoter just on the 2 nodes that actually
have storage and which you want to be a LINSTOR controller. In that case
node A and B can become a (the) LINSTOR controller, the dummy node C is
only there as a diskless tiebreaker node for the DRBD resource. C does
not contribute storage, it does not become a LINSTOR controller.
