This is not the first time you suggest this, but I just don't see the
need. Rebuilding the cache is a one-time operation, not something to be
done regularly. So why would you *need* this? As opposed to *want*.

Ops, sorry if already asked, had in mind of remembering this in the past,
not of asking,

Well my idea is just to have a more real idea of the time that this would
take to finish, of course this is not required, and it's just a suggestion
:)

I was just thinking of my 225GB of data to convert!
