List message timing.
Hi there,

The digest list messages are sent out at noon, on the dot, every day:

1 Mon 01 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (16K) clamav-users Digest, Vol 28, Issue 1
2 Tue 02 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (5946) clamav-devel Digest, Vol 29, Issue 1
3 Wed 03 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (32K) clamav-users Digest, Vol 28, Issue 2
4 Wed 03 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (7706) clamav-devel Digest, Vol 29, Issue 2
5 Thu 04 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (19K) clamav-users Digest, Vol 28, Issue 3
6 Thu 04 Jan 2007 12:00:00 GMT (11K) clamav-devel Digest, Vol 29, Issue 3

As you can see it's been bugging me for more than a decade, but today,
over on the users list, a post which also makes no sense prompted me
to speak up about this at last.

The sane approach is - where practicable, and after all this is just a
mailing list - to semi-randomize the timing of the traffic, to be kind
to the networks.

Of course I don't know what the volumes are, but particularly with
times like noon or midnight it can, at marginal cost, make somebody
somewhere just that little bit happier. :)

I think a Cisco company ought to be taking the lead.
