I've been asked to get some area code 212 numbers. Has anyone bought some
from 212areacode.com and ported them to a VoIP service? They look legit to
me.

Like, if I dial 212-867-5309 I get some music? ;)

It's the original NYC area code so it's a prestige-thing. Kind of like 403
in Calgary or 416 in Toronto.

There's even a Seinfeld episode about it. I'll have to watch it again - I
think Elayne can't get an area code 212 number. Back in the 90s!
