Almost forgot to give a long overdue shoutout to Stephen Welsh with Unified FX. A couple years ago I was struggling with some of the basics of the development process. He took the time to walk me through how the pros do it and explained some of the tools and processes involved. Use of repos, etc. While I?m afraid not ALL of it stuck at the time, it definitely helped get the tools to the point they are today.

Pete, I look at it this way? can you explain the code you wrote? Can you fix it when it breaks?. Then its good code?. Optimization comes later.
Don?t use code you can?t explain in production?.. cause when it breaks well?. :)
The guys I work with constantly say their UCCE scripting is bad?. Sure could be cleaner, but when I ask them to explain it they can and thats all that matters?.
