DOCSIS 3.0 channel bonding help
I need some assistance trying to get DS channel bonding working on a
Cisco 7225VXR. I have a few modems online and functioning properly but I
can't seem to get the modem to lock on the other 3 DS using channel
bonding. From what I've read I think everything is configured properly.
This is my first 3.0 attempt. Were looking to deploy 3.0 later this year
and would like to get some testing/breaking completed before we have to
deploy. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. One other question is,
are there any special requirements in the modem config file to tell it
to use channel bonding? I'm using PacketACE and Arris 702s.

Hi Matt

Did you also define the wideband interfaces? The wideband interface defines the bonding groups..

Something like:

interface wideband-cable 1/0:0
cable bundel <x>
cable rf-channel 0 bandwidth-percent 1
cable rf-channel 1 bandwidth-percent 1
cable rf-channel 2 bandwidth-percent 1
cable rf-channel 3 bandwidth-percent 1
