RE: [nsp] Is it possible to get a Cisco router to act as RouteSer ver?
Greetings-

A good starting point to see a route server in action and what it does and
does not allow is

route-server.exodus.net.

Granted you can't gain enable mode to do a "sh ver", but you can do a "sh
flash" to see what image they are running and a "sh bootvar" to see what the
backplane is (which deductively tells you what chassis they are using).

In terms of BGP configuration and setting up a "looking glass", here are a
couple links I find useful.

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/459/18.html

http://www.rsng.net/how.peer.html

Good luck

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to get a Cisco router to act as RouteServer?
Which IOS do I need?
How do I configure it?

Thanx and regards,
/Erik
