I have a 7206VXR that is running 12.2(7a).
I have the following configuration:
Slot 3 PA-FE-TX
Slot 6 PA-POS-OC3-LR
During boot, every card comes up except for the FE card. The FE 'enabled'
LED turns on briefly, then goes out.
IOS logs a message:
03:57.278: %PA-2-UNDEFPABRIDGE: Unsupported Port Adaptor Bridge 0xFFFF
FFFF in bay 3
Sep 4 18:03:57.278: %PA-3-DEACTIVATED: port adapter in bay [3] powered
off.
Sep 4 18:03:57.378: %PA-2-PABRIDGE: Failed to config bridge for PA 3
Sep 4 18:04:44.883: %OIR-6-REMCARD: Card removed from slot 3, interfaces
disabled
I can pull the FE card and insert into any left-hand slot and it is not
enabled. I can plug it into a right-hand slot and it enables...
Here it gets interesting: I have another POS card, so I replace the original
POS card and now the FE card will enable in a left side slot...
Any ideas?
