Hello,

Are PAs used for 7200 VXRs backcompatible to non-VXR
7200s?
Thanks.

in most cases, yes.

The ones you want to watch out for are the high-speed PAs.
Someone here who knows how to finesse the CCO search engine better than I
(argh, that thing comes up with all the most off-topic crap when doing
keyword based searches) can post the url for the appropriate field-notice
here.

Hello,

Normally, it should be available here (under Product Bulletins):
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/rt/7200/prodlit/

Check the End of Sale bulletins, there usually is information on the upgrade
path and also alternatives to the different Port Adapters.

Regards,

This document has list of PA for different 7200 models and also explains
bandwidth point requirements.
