suggestions for ASR1001-x stable IOS-XE release as lac/lns?
Hello,
we're running RP1 models and 1001-x as LAC/LNS.

On RP1 we see release 3.16.10S as stable release.
On -x we see quite regular reboots (currently at 16.3.9).

Regarding pppoe and l2tp-termination
(we do QoS per virtual-subinterface and vrf's, mpls, bgp, ospf)
I'd appreciate any "most stable" suggestions.

Previously 16.3.8 reloaded because a radius qos attribute was wrong :).

Thx in advance,
Harald.

Hello,

I would suggest 16.09.04 or above in 16.09.x, using it for 1 year as LNS
without issue.

Best regards,
Ga?l

+1 for 16.9.4.

We have rigorously tested 16.9.4 on ASR1009-X's as LNS devices. It's
been rock solid apart from one outstanding bug we have open with Cisco
which relates to RP failover, so it won't apply to you on an
ASR1002-X.

Cheers,
James.

We have had an issue with 16.9.4 (CSCvq49721 : unable to telnet in a vrf), that is corrected in 16.9.6.
