[nsp] BGP Neighbor Holddown
Hello,

Is their a way a way in Cisco IOS 12.x to hold down a neighbor that
flaps too many times in a given time span? I have looked around and have
not been able to find an obvious answer.

Regards,

Manolo

The feature you are probably looking for is called "flap dampening"
in BGP.

See http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/459/16.html#A24.4

According to the page it was first introduced into IOS 11.0 so it
should certainly be in all 12.x releases. (and is in all JUNOS releases :-).
