Ip pool with Microsoft IAS (RADIUS)
Subject: [cisco-nas] Ip pool with Microsoft IAS (RADIUS)

Hi there ,

i don't know if this is the right way but i am quite desperat in finding the solution for my problem.
so i hope you ''ll help me out.....

i am trying to configure a ip pool option in MS IAS 2003 radius but it doesnt seem to work with our old AS5200......
the AS has been configured with different pools with specific IP ranges....
the pool i configure under advanced options in the IAS server doesnt come true in the client IP adres (and i suppose the as5200) , it always takes the default ip pool configured.

The old situation with Cisco ICS2.1 under NT4 with TACACS authentication works fine.....but its NT4 and has to be replaced...

can you help me out?

thanx

please send the AS5200's config along with a "debug radius", "debug ppp
negotiation" and "debug aaa authorization" so we can figure out what's
going on.
Did you configure "aaa authorization network default group radius" or
similar to apply the Radius attributes?
