cisco AS5350 transcoding
Hi

I have cisco5350 , i need to do codec transcoding . In principle it can be done.Call from Voip (IP) to PRI -> PRI -> Voip(IP) I have been reading quite a few form , since this cisco is not 5350XM , unified border element is not present.

I have been working on this issue for a while , but can not get it working. I would appreciate if someone can help me with this.
I am posting my cisco config .

Also is there a command to see , where the call is failing. I use show call history voice breif, it tells me call attempt with either incompatible destination or no-route. but does not tell where is it failing either on Voip dial peer or pots.

I will appreciate your help in this matter.

Thanks

You should check the status of ISDN PRI. If that's up, check the dial-peers, including the codec. It should work without any problem.

Now I am using CUBE for transcoding which is IP-IP gateway mode.

HTH.
