newbie question - how to see first page

Fellows Bricolage,

Let me ask smth,

I've installed Bricolage 2.0.0, started it.
Trying to open "http://c64.8bit.fm/", it redirects me to
"http://c64.8bit.fm/login/welcome.html?referer=/"
Logged in, under Admin > Distribution > Destination made new profile
(filesystem), added server: http://c64.8bit.fm/, Unix,
/usr/local/bricolage/comp/data
Trying to create new story, and publish it.
It creates "http://c64.8bit.fm/workflow/profile/preview/control/story/1031?checkout=1"
for preview, and
"/usr/local/bricolage/comp/data/2010/08/13/new4/index.html" locally.

My questions are:
1) How to see it in "http://c64.8bit.fm/" ?
2) Story disapeared from Story > Publish. I can't find it after
publishing. How to manage already published stories?

Sorry for such dumb questions, original site has a lot info for
expert. But I, as newbie, feel that I miss smth important.

Don't put it there. That's only for the Bricolage UI. Create a document root elsewhere on your file system.

You need to set up a Web server over the directory to which files are distributed on publish. Bricolage does not serve content, BTW. When you publish, it writes files and ships them off elsewhere to be served by an independent process of your choice.

When you've published a story, it's removed from workflow. Go into Story -> Search and search on "%". That will return all stories in the system.

That you've got it installed and distributing files is fantastic. You're already well on your way.

Could you pls advice any solution, that can process resulted folders
(like ./2010/08/13/index.html) and show them as one complete site.
I was in impression, that Bricolage do it, like Drupal or Joomla.
I need to see any example to understand which way to move futher.

Only by previewing. Bricolage does not serve sites.
