Hello Bricolage List

I'm proud to present you the work I've done for my customer meinecom
Inc., a telephone company offering end user services. Their business model is
partially based on network marketing and therefore absolute dependent on
a strong customer extranet and easy publishing.

http://www.meinecom.ch/

I expected more then hundred fifty pages describing the offer and services
for each language. meinecom required that the page can handle multiple
languages and that the site can be quick duplicated (aliased) when operating
in other countries.

Of course Bricolage was my first, and finally their choice!

As I have a strong Mason background and the site has many dynamic
pages, especially the extranet, I decided to run the whole site in
chunked mode. This means that the business logic and the main
arrangement of the site resides in 'auto.handler' and 'd.handler' using
methods of Mason *.comp files and Perl modules. These are only executed
on the delivery server. I used the Bricolage media element to upload,
manage and distribute those files only containing code.

I used Bricolage stories for the main content published via channel with
*.html extension and for pagelets (menu, navigation, teaser, banner, news,
info and wizards) with a *.snip extension.

It was a great pleasure to work with Bricolage, which is in no way
behind commercial enterprise class CMS I worked on before :-)

meinecom uses Bricolage very intensive and is in an ongoing process to
(easily) optimize the message of their content on a weekly basis. The
workflow module is a great help for translation and marketing review tasks.

I love it!
