backhand stopping apache restart
Got a strange error here.

At midnight, we rotate our log files, and do an 'apachectl graceful'
restart, however, something is wrong as apache doesn't come back. We see
this in the log file:

Syntax error on line 675 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'Backhand', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module
not included in the server configuration

Any clues?

Re: backhand stopping apache restart [ In reply to ]
As a followup ... when i restart ... here is what i read:

------------------------
[Tue Apr 12 04:46:38 2005] [notice] mod_backhand -- UnixSocketDir set to
/usr/local/apache/backhand
[Tue Apr 12 04:46:38 2005] [notice] mod_backhand -- Broadcast
192.168.100.255:4445 added
[Tue Apr 12 04:46:38 2005] [notice] mod_backhand -- Multicast accept
192.168.100.0/24
[Tue Apr 12 04:46:39 2005] [notice] backhand_init(24135) spawning
moderator (PID 24148)
[Tue Apr 12 04:46:39 2005] [notice] mod_backhand moderator ready to go
Syntax error on line 675 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'Backhand', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module
not included in the server configuration
------------------------

So something is definitely screwed up somewhere along the line.

Using the latest CVS build of mod_backhand.
