I've had a few rounds in email with the guy who reported the problem
with redirects from his index.cgi script (the root of the problem
being that httpd was shipping a bogus content-type). I gave him a
patch which used the server's DefaultType, and it didn't work for him
--- he claims that lynx, at least, wants "Content-type: text/html" on
any 302 response, and that *anything else* will cause it to display
the body, rather than honoring the redirect. This has also shown up
on the HyperNews bug page for NCSA 1.4.
